Deal Registration Policy
Last updated: August 28, 2026
Scope
This policy governs deal registration for partners who sell Point11 to their own customers, including resellers and agencies. It supplements our Terms of Service. If you and Point11 have signed a reseller or partner agreement, that agreement controls where it conflicts with this policy.
Who Can Register
You may register a deal if you are an active Point11 partner in good standing and you intend to transact the opportunity yourself. You must have had direct contact with the end customer about the specific Point11 opportunity before you register. We decline registrations that cover a territory, an industry, a prospect list, or an account you have not yet contacted.
What You Submit
A registration identifies your company, the person we should contact, the end customer, the end customer's website, the expected deal size, and the expected close timing, along with enough detail to identify the specific opportunity. Submit complete and accurate information. We use the end customer's website to identify the account and detect duplicates, so it must be the operating website of the business you intend to sell to. A registration covers only the named customer and specific opportunity. It does not cover a parent, subsidiary, affiliate, renewal, or unrelated opportunity unless we confirm that scope in writing.
Review
We review complete, accurate, eligible registrations in the order we receive them and respond within five business days. We send the decision in writing to the email address on the registration. We may ask for more detail before deciding, and we may decline a registration at our discretion.
Protection Period
An approved registration protects the named customer and specific opportunity for 90 days from the date we approve it. During that period we will not approve a competing partner registration for that opportunity. Protection requires active account management: continued customer engagement, timely responses to Point11, accurate opportunity information, and prompt notice of material changes.
Renewal
Protection does not extend automatically. To keep an opportunity protected beyond 90 days, reply to the registration email before the current period ends with a short progress update. We renew registrations for deals that are actively progressing. We may decline renewal if the opportunity has gone dormant, if the end customer is no longer engaged, or if the deal has changed materially from what you registered. A registration that is not renewed expires.
Conflicts
When eligible registrations conflict, priority goes to the first complete and accurate registration we receive. We may decline a later registration without identifying the partner holding the protected opportunity. An existing Point11 opportunity or another contractual commitment may make a registration ineligible. We will not withdraw an approved registration merely to pursue the same opportunity directly.
Customer Choice
Deal registration does not restrict the end customer's choice of partner, procurement route, or direct relationship with Point11. If the customer asks to work through another route, we may change or end protection after discussing the change with you.
When Protection Ends
Protection ends when any of the following happens:
- The 90-day period ends and the registration is not renewed.
- The deal closes.
- You tell us you are no longer pursuing the opportunity.
- You stop actively managing the account or do not provide a requested update.
- The registration was based on materially inaccurate information.
- Your partner agreement with Point11 ends.
What Registration Does Not Do
Registration records who is working an account. It is not a quote, an order, a discount approval, or a commitment by either party to enter a transaction. It does not grant exclusivity over a territory, an industry, or a product, and it does not oblige Point11 to sell to the end customer or to sell through you. Pricing, discounts, and any margin that applies to a registered deal are set in your partner agreement and in the quote we issue for the specific opportunity.
End Customer Information
We handle information you submit about an end customer under our Privacy Policy. Submit only information you are permitted to share with us, and do not put an end customer's confidential information in the deal notes.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy by posting a revised version on our website. A registration we have already approved keeps the protection period it was granted. We will give notice of material changes to active partners by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
